at-first-sightJeremy Marsh was positive of three things: He would never move out of New York City, he would never fall in love and get married again, and he would never be a father.

But Jermey finds all three of these things coming true in a short matter of time. He now is living in Boone Creek, soon to Marry Lexie Darnell, and to top it all off he is about to become a father after he was told he could never have children.  Just when everything seems to be perfect for Jeremy he begins to receive emails that make him begin to second guess everything including his fiance, his soon to be child and living in Boone Creek.

At First Sight captures all of the ups and downs of being engaged, living in a small town, and becoming a parent.  And just when you think everything is back to normal you are hit with the worst pain of all.

This was a truly awesome book to read.  I loved every aspect of this book until it began to deal with the couple finding out that their unborn child might be born with birth defect due to Amniotic Band Syndrome.   I was a little upset with how the author made ABS seem so awful.  And I think the only reason this hit so close to home for me is because I have a child born with a birth defect due to ABS.

I would suggest every mom, parent, and lover read this book and go on this exellent journey with Jeremy and Lexie.
