Eternity is Ajax Petrakos’s prison. Centuries later after Ajax and his Spartan brothers made a bargain to become immortal, Ajax is struggling to keep himself disciplined. He only has one true source of strength and that is that he will one day find is other half Shay Angel.

When Ajax finally finds his soul mate he realizes he is not the first to find her. Ajax enemy finds her first and that begins the story of a bond that can’t be broken.

Shay is the youngest of a demon-hunting family and wonders if her angel hero is a angel or a demon. As the story goes on Ajax continues to have to rescue Shay until the tables are turned and it is up to Shay to rescue her angel in disguise.

As Ajax and shay rush to solve the mysterious prophesy, a prophesy that will lead to Ajax’s death if they don’t succeed, they begin to fall deeper into love and Shay soon realizes that she can not live without her Ajax.

Deidre kept me turning the pages and I got to the point where I could not put the book down because I had to know what happened next. There is adventure, passion and mystery in the book and that is just the type of books I love to read. The best part is that this is the first book in the series A God of Midnight Novel.

Book two Red Kiss Came out June 2009

by Marcia Ramsland

Wow, I thought the last Marcia Ramsland book I reviewed was good. This one just blew me away. I don’t know about you but I am totally visual. I really need to see what something is going to look like before I implement it so I know if it’s going to work for me or not. This book was just perfect for me. Throughout Simplify your Space, that’s exactly what you get. No only does Ms. Ramsland tell you how get the different areas of your home organized, everything from your bathroom to your basement and every room in between but she shows you how to do it as well.

The first thing I noticed is how the book is broken down. This I thought was one of the best features as you can work on the area you want or you feel needs to be worked on or should I say organized first. The different sections are entitled: Simplify your Visible Space, Simplify your Personal Space, Simplify your Active Space, Simplify your Formal Space, Simplify your Storage Space. Within each of these sections you will find the areas covered listed such as in the case of the Visible Space, this would cover your kitchen, family room and daily paperwork. Makes sense huh?

I especially found useful the Desk Setup and the illustration showing where everything should be and why. It all seems so common sense but I never would have thought it out the way she does. The way she recommends setting up your desk area makes things not only organized and neat but workable. It all flows from one side to the other. It all makes sense and makes it works. If you are like most people you desire a clean organized home and life but you may find it difficult to achieve, you will find Simplify Your Space Create Order & Reduce Stress just what you are looking for.

If you enjoy this book you will certainly want to check out her other books as well. Why not get you entire life organized from top to bottom, day in and day out!

A common myth in our culture is, “It takes money to make money.” This is an excuse we often make to ourselves so we’ll feel better about not taking responsibility for our finances. Smart Women Finish Rich author David Bach understands that many of us THINK we don’t have money to invest.

Bach learned all he knows from his grandmother. His grandmother had great financial wisdom and he is moved to share this with women today that want to get their financial lives in order. He realized that “people rarely know what is truly driving them emotionally when it comes to money.”

There are three key Bach mentions right in the beginning of this world renowned how-to book. These keys will help women everywhere to smart money management that will enable a woman to gain control over her financial future. And yes, as David says; finish rich!

These three keys are:

• How to use both your head and heart for financial judgments.
• How the “Latte Factor” can make a modest wage owner into a noteworthy investor.
• How Bach’s “Three-Basket” approach to financial planning can assure you not only long-term security but the ability to realize your lifelong dreams.

Bach’s approach to money management is ingrained in years of investment seminars for women and his work as senior vice president of investments at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Smart Women Finish Rich is the perfect book for any woman who has their own business or just dreams to have financial freedom.

Carrie is the head mom in charge at
http://www.NaturalMomsTalkRadio.com/blog, where she offers a free weekly podcast and internet talk radio show for moms interested in natural family living.

This book is a guide for parents of teenagers. Why they act the way the do and how we as parents can understand and deal with the problems and issues our teenagers face.

“Where have you been and why did you lie to me and say you were going to the library when you never showed your face there?” Sound familiar? If you are a parent of a teenager it’s either happened or will happen soon. It’s all a part of raising a teenager. Do we as parents understand it? No, but this book can help you and your teenager both to better deal with situations like this.

This book is filled with issues that we as parents and our teenagers face. Things such as sex, suicide, school, lies, sneaking out, their beloved video games and much more are talked about in this book. I thought I knew the answers to these things, but found out I really didn’t have a clue. I spent more time yelling and crying than I did getting to the root of the problems. This book gave me a lot of ways to stop that type of behavior and resume a healthy and happy relationship with my teenager.

I really enjoyed the chapter called “What They Do and Why.” It really gave me some insight on why my teenager does things that make no sense to me. I finally began to see how teenagers and their lives have changed since I was a teenager and why it was so hard for me to grasp it. I read something in that chapter weekly to help me remain confident and keep calm during these trying times with a teen.

Raising a teenager in this day and age is not easy for any of us. We expect a lot from our children and put some pretty high expectations on them and they retaliate. It’s just how it is today. With this book I have learned to lower some of those expectations and realize I can enjoy my role as the parent of a teenager.

By: Luci Swindoll

So often women define themselves by their titles-Wife, Mother, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales Assistant, Filing Clerk-but how often do they stop to define their raison d’etre, their life’s passion? Thirty years at Mobil Oil corporate offices and five more at Insight for Living as Vice President of Public Relations taught Luci Swindoll a thing or two about business, and much more about herself and Christian women in the workplace.

Written for the gamut of working women, the Notes include five particularly noteworthy interviews with Anne Lamott, Mary Graham, Andrea Grossman, Peggy Wehmeyer, and CeCe Winans. Though varied in career, they share an awareness of and awe for the role Christ plays in their daily lives-a role He fulfills, not just in the workplace, but at home, in church, and most importantly, in the heart.

I probley read this book five times a year. Every time I seem to fall into a slump with work Luci brings me right out of it. She takes you on a journey in this book a journey from start to finish. I would recommend this book to anyone. I find myself so many times feeling like Luci is talking directly to me. And all the time it is helping me to incorporate Our Heavenly Father in my work. How much more wonderful can it get.
