Shawn Collins has just returned home from fighting in Europe. His desire now is to stay home with son, Patrick and aging father and to grieve the loss of his wife in private. But that is not to be as he is called upon yet once again to serve his country – as a speaker on the war bond tour taking him away from his family. Not knowing how this decision will impact his life, Shawn asks Katherine Townsend to be Patrick’s nanny while he’s away.
